Unfortunately, I can't provide you with a hit Broadway musical. I can, however, introduce you to some of the fantastic felines I've met while over here. Brace yourself, for what will probably the greatest post of my blogging career. Your welcome.

Valentina: The Femme Fatale

Don't be fooled by the shimmering white fur or the soulful eyes. This lady has an iron will, high ambitions, and very sharp claws.

Gregorio: The Town Drunk

The night before was filled with cat nip, kitties, and unsuspecting mice... possibly. He can't quite remember. Just like he can't quite figure out how he got up here... or how he's getting down.

Stella: The Hooker with a Heart of Gold

Orphaned and abandoned at a young age, she's resigned herself to her fate. But if you can break through the walls she's built around her heart, you'll never find a more loyal friend.

Tommaso: The Hopeless Romantic

Spare him a glance and he's curious. Give him a pet and he's attached. Offer him a plaything and he's eternally yours.

Eugenia: The Wise Old Woman

Sure she's a little, ahem, eccentric. But this cat's seen a few winters. Want to find the best nap spots? Go to her. Want to woo that tempting minx next door? Go to her. Want to learn how to bark like a dog? ... Don't go to her. That's just weird.

Dario: The Outlaw

Oh yes, he knows that silky black fur is going to draw those human ladies in like a magnet. He also knows exactly how to snatch their goodies and run. Maybe they should have listened more to those superstitions about black cats?

Giovanna: The Grande Dame

Aww, you got a scrap from a tourist? That's cute. She's just going to hang out over here on her own private farm. The humans may as well be her pets for the amount they cater to her.

Frederico: The Momma's Boy

Don't touch. Don't come close. Don't even look at him. Giovanna's worked too hard to get to this position and there's no way she's going to lose her precious baby to some diseased and uneducated city cat.

Ornella: The Crone

There's a reason this one's on the street. Approach at your own risk.

Samuele: The Cute Little Kid

Just you wait Valentina. He may still look like a kid, but he's gonna be a man soon and when he is, he's gonna thaw that ice cold heart. He just knows it.

Lavinia: The Dark Lady

Soon. Soon she shall launch her plot for city domination. Then, once the dogs are exterminated and the humans are enslaved, she shall take her rightful place as a beautiful and terrible queen. Soon. But not not before she finishes this nap.

And thus, the photo blog ends. But maybe the larger story is just beginning? Who knows? You might get a musical out of this after all.
